I have a plot in the potrero hill community garden up on 20th and San Bruno. I saw the article about snails on the mission blog. Let me know if you are ever in need of some snails that have only eaten organic faire (our garden is organic). I regularly kill the poor fellows so I would love to collect some for a higher purpose if you need some.
